This is a great picture of Papa Tim and Nana Karen as the kids call them affectionately. This was the bridge on the way to Bradley Lake -- the "short" hike that we took. We had every intention of seeing three lakes today but we only saw one up close and Taggart Lake was from the climb on the way to Bradley. Both lakes were amazing and so clear and crisp. Scott was dying to take off his clothes down to his underwear and jump in the lake just so he could say he did!! Of course the kids were double and triple daring him ... he didn't ... no need to cause that kind of a stir in a National Park, right??? Spencer found that if you throw really LARGE rocks into the water, they make a big splash and funny noise ... we also found the black ants to be quite large as we had our picnic! Oh what fun we are having so far! Oh did I tell you that Saturday morning at 10am, Karen opened her email to check it and she got a note from Orbitz saying their flight had been moved up and it was leaving at 10:15am???!?!!!! I'm not kidding ... they missed their flight and spent two hours on the phone with Orbitz and Delta and ended up having to drive to Sarasota to catch a flight to Atlanta and then catch their flight in to Jackson late Saturday evening ... it apparently was a nightmare! Not only that, they confiscated all toiletries! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Thank God they made it!!!
