Sunday September 14th

This morning looks exactly like what you think a foggy Maine day would be!! It is so cool!! We can’t see a thing!!! And it is cool and misty! The kids ventured down to the shoreline and climbed rocks and found treasures. We took them down to Shoodic Peninsula, part of Acadia National Park. The coastline and sights were beautiful, even with the fog. We stopped at this one place and took some pictures and then started to stop at another one when we saw a ton of people standing around just like in Wyoming! I was thinking, “Oh they see something!!” Luckily, I didn’t jump out. Once we got closer, we realized it was a Memorial Service......yeah, if I had jumped out and yelled, “What do you see?”, I would have had my own Memorial Service right there ...... I know some of you are shocked that it didn’t happen!

We stopped at another spot and got out to take pictures. When we got back, the car was locked but it was running. I looked at Scott and he looked at me and he started laughing. I thought he was kidding and had the second set in his pocket. He didn’t and Jack informed us he locked the car when he got out. So there we are with the car running, all our stuff is inside and Mom left her cell phone at the house. Hmm....what are we going to do. Luckily, this couple were biking behind us and they stopped and let us use their cell phone. Scott called OnStar and they unlocked the car for us. Thank God Scott called on his way to Boston and renewed the contract, right??? God just seems to be one step ahead of us all the time, doesn’t He??? The couple was from Idaho – very nice people and very friendly with the kids!!!
