Make Way for Ducklings!

My friend, Helen, let me borrow this book - which the kids read - and we saw the park that this book was written for. It was beautiful and we would have loved to seen it when the leaves were really turning for fall. The kids found a dog walker and they got to love on a few dogs which helped with their feelings of missing Chip like crazy......in fact, we have found pretty much every dog from here to Maine to Vermont and have pet them all!! Including the one dog in Bar Harbor that actually used his face to to nudge and tickle the kids on their necks until they laughed. He was part Alaskan Husky I think and he was beautiful. And he will only do this with kids; won't have anything to do with the adults. The owners actually went to Scott and Dad and asked if the boys could play with him because this dog loves kids so much! Very neat people .... I missed it. I was shopping and had the camera ..... :( Then we stopped and pet a English Sheepdog that was probably the cutest thing we have ever seen!! The size of a small horse though and enough hair to make a carpet out of but the cutest eyes ever none the less ..... a little white and black dog, Clyde next door ..... a golden retriever .... a dog that was really a wolf ... yes, the dog was 95% wolf. Now you tell me why in the heck would you have a dog that wasn't really a dog but is more a wolf than a dog? I mean seriously ... that is going to go bad at some point .... seriously ,...
