Making School Interesting

Erica hates English. So does Spencer. Today, we tried doing this outside under the tree by the cows. Yeah, I should have thought of the smell prior to making that decision. Anyway, we worked outside. Scott worked with the boys in another area of the yard. I left Erica when it came time to do the work herself -- at this point, she had her face in her hands frustrated with the chapter. I went inside and Spencer was laying in the hammock doing his work. I went back later to check on them and found Spencer had moved up on the hill with Erica and the cows. It was really sweet ........ they finished but told me they took breaks to pet the cows!! It was a beautiful breezy, sunny day.

After school, we had lunch and hung out. Scott has had head in a book all afternoon for school. I sat down on the couch ... then I kind of stretched out ... then I kind of took an hour nap in between waking myself up snoring!! Man, I really needed that little nap! It felt great right next to the warm fire Scott had going. Sigh ..... I'm never coming home ..... sorry ..... Lord, if You are listening, will you please let me live on a farm just like this in heaven??
