Wednesday ... off to a good start??

We got up Wednesday morning and took off for a field trip day for History. I found an article in a Vermont magazine that covered the area we are in and mapped out a trip of all the history. It was going to be perfect!! Right? Well, we had breakfast at The Lawyer and the Baker first. I believe that was the best ever cinnamon bun I have ever tasted. I had a strawberry scone which was delicious. The blueberry muffins were awesome and the boys had these heavy, dense cinnamon buns that were out of this world!!! We left there and headed to our first destination. However, not before we saw a moose being pulled from the woods. Yes, I made Scott turn around to get a picture. Yes, I asked the men if he was alive. No, he was not alive. He had been hit by a car. I can only imagine what the car looked like .... it was very sad. I had hoped the men hit him with a dart to tag him but I was WRONG ...... I assume he will be on display in a museum in the future .... I just don't understand the excitement in men when they are pulling dead animals into the back of their trucks. This must truly be a gene that God did not give to women.
