Hello!!! Wow ... is it really the end of July? What just happened???????!!!!!!! I think I blinked and our summer is over! I will work my way backwards from our summer. We just returned from a week long visit with my family in "by God" West Virginia! What an amazing time we had. This was the first time my kids have been to meet family there. They have met some who visited Florida but this was their official trip and official plane ride! It was so amazing, it would take too long to go into detail! God was faithful to us with our safety and our time there. I felt it was so fruitful to be with everyone. I am very glad that I made the trip.

This picture is of my children sitting on the steps of their great grandmother's house! My father grew up in this home. Although the front has changed and the porch has been enclosed, the steps and the rail are still the same - just as I remembered it. It is bizarre though how small it felt. As a child, I remember climbing stairs and climbing stairs to get to the top of the hill. The house seemed so big and the pine trees were huge. As an adult, it was so weird to stand and look at it and think, "The steps aren't as steep and the house is too small!" And I really was convinced because we even drove past it the first time!! But still, such great memories and I am glad to have this picture of my children on my grandma's steps. Thank God the family that bought the home was kind enough to let us take the picture -- and yes, for those who know me, we did go to the door and yes, her dog did try to bite us!!
